Teaching about parenting (styles)

Let all the parents stand up in a big circle and join them in it. Do an introducing round and ask about their expectations for this workshop. Tell them that this workshop is the second of two and that today you will talk about what the upbringing of a child is and teach them some new parenting styles. Do a small repetition of the first workshop. Tell them what the biggest topics were. (Pyramid of needs, child development and attachment)

Tell the parents you didn't show them these two parenting styles because you want them to take one of the two and apply it completely in to their lives. You just hope this maybe was an inspiration for them and that they might take some small things from the both and use it in their own parenting. You don't want to tell them what they need to do, you want to give them alternatives.

When you're done with all the topics from above, your workshop is finished. To make sure everyone understood everything ask if anyone has some questions. After this it is important to thank everyone for coming to the workshop and listening.
